Upstream operations holds a pivotal position in the ORLEN Group’s business model. It is a cornerstone of Poland’s energy security and has a key role in advancing the country’s sustainable transition. Its diversity and integrated approach help drive progress towards the ORLEN Group’s business objectives. The Upstream area at ORLEN comprises the Upstream Segment, which manages companies and implements ORLEN's long-term Upstream strategy. It also includes onshore and offshore exploration and production assets managed by companies in Poland, Norway, Pakistan, and Libya. The area also includes service companies conducting work in the field of exploration and well geophysics, drilling for the oil and gas sector, and studies, as well as the construction and production of mining infrastructure. The Upstream area also includes a team of experts forming the Upstream Segment, which manages companies and implements long-term strategies, supporting companies in the Upstream area with their expertise and experience.
